Kryptonite

I was supposed to pick up my younger brother from his tuition center Tuesday afternoon. As I parked outside waiting for him to get done, I tried keeping myself to my thoughts. I'm gay so I really can not help that guys attract me. However it's only when I am attracted to guys younger than myself that I feel ashamed. The tuition center is primarily aimed for young people between the age of 15 to 19. I thought if I kept to my thoughts, I won't have a dozen more crushes while waiting for my brother.

The plan worked perfectly. I didn't notice any of the guys walking past my car. But then I saw this one kid and BAAM!, I thought for a moment it was Alex. Or at least how Alex looked while we both were still in A-Levels! I could actually feel my eyes diverting back and forth to him and my heart beat just a little faster. I believe I also had a semi hard-on. Alex was my first big-time serious crush. It was such a crush that I often day-dreamed of things happening between us. But as I grew older, sense got knocked into me and I realized Alex is straight and will always be my fantasy.

Another reason I was taken back was because I thought I was over Alex. After graduation, we hardly saw each other. Out of sight, out of mind totally holds true in my case. Six months into my university life and I no longer was crushing on Alex. I had several new crushes now. Some on my classmates, some on my seniors and one on my biochemistry assistant professor. So yeah, I'm a programmed slut with some motor defects!

I tried looking anywhere but where the kid was standing but my stupid eyes kept going back to him. I was almost sure he had taken notice of me and was looking back at me now. Shoot, I'm dead! - I thought to myself. Having a crush on someone is okay, but having a crush on someone and he or she is in knowledge of your crush is so not okay. In fact it's downright embarrassing. I wondered why my brother was taking so freak'in long. It had been about 15 minutes since I messaged him to come out.

What happened next totally shook me up. While I was stealing a glance from him, he looked back and smiled. Not a full on teeth bearing smile, but a simple 'I know you' sort of smile. "Shit!" I swore rather loudly. I started praying that the kid doesn't come any closer and my brother comes out the next second. But since whenever does God listen to anything I have to say?!

What happened next was the exact opposite of both the things I was praying for. My brother messaged me that he would be taking about 30 minutes more and I am not supposed to go anywhere. Also after his friends left, he had no one to talk to so after hanging alone for a while he started moving towards me. I switched gears on my praying and started wishing that he would walk right past me. What happened was that he knocked on my window. "F*ck!", I swore.

"You really didn't recognize me?", he asked.

"Well you look alot like one of my friends back from A Levels!", I told him. "But no, I don't recognize you! Do I know you from somewhere?"

"You didn't know me, but you knew my brother!"

"Oh My God! You're Alex's brother!" I exclaimed. "You look exactly like he did back in A Levels!" God, that was such a stupid thing to say. Now everything made a little more sense to me, however I didn't get how hard was this kid making me. A part of me wanted to jump out of the car and kiss him. But obviously, can't do that! "Did anyone ever tell you that?"

"That I'm Alex's brother?" he joked. "Sure, mom does it everyday when I fight against him!" Alex isn't this funny, he's more of a silent and collected type. "Yeah, I look alot like Alex!"

We talked abit more after that about his studies - he's planning to become a doctor (Please don't get admission in my college! - I prayed hopelessly in silent at that exact moment. ), Alex and A Levels. "It's time for my next class. I'll be heading out now but it was nice meeting you!" he said. "Alex used to talk so much about you when he was in A Levels!"

"Good things, I hope!" I poked.

"Oh yeah, only good things!" he laughed.

After he left, my mind started buzzing about Alex and my entire A Levels journey came flooding back to me. Alex was my biggest crush of all and no matter how much time passes, he still brings a smile to my face and makes me weak in the knees. If I was Superman, Alex would be my kryptonite. First crush is the creepiest!

-----------------------------------------------------

Sorry for the huge gap in posting, I was down with a flu but I'm all better now. And one more thing, I spent the last two to three days reading my old posts and I realized how many things I've left unfinished. I'll be posting in series about Alex, Junior and Gracie in that order. I need to wind up these open ends. I know it's a small time blog but I gotta keep things professional in case somebody picks this up for a TV Series! ;)

No Girls Allowed

I rarely remember the things that come in my dreams, but what I dreamt of last night I shall never be able to forget. Before you start thinking that it was one of the most amazing dreams I could ever have where I was making out the hottest guy anyone could imagine, let me stop you!

I was not dreaming about a guy. I was not dreaming about ANY guy. Infact I was dreaming about a girl. Yes, I had my first ever wet dream involving a girl. However I also think it will be my last. Want to know why?

My brain doesn’t like it when I dream about girls. The dislike is to such an extent that it sabotages my dreams, so that they become living nightmares. I’m not kidding you! When I woke up in the morning today, I rechecked my surroundings to see if life was still the same as it was when I went to sleep. Yeah, my brain totally kicked my first female wet dream’s ass.

It started out innocent enough. I was laying next to this blonde chick. I do not find blondes attractive. I admit I like my guys with paler shades of hair. But I prefer females in shades of rich brunettes, kind of like Hillary Duff. I loved her Dignity era make-over. Anyhow back to my dream. Strangely enough, she couldn’t speak English or Urdu. We were talking in some weird sign language. Could she be Russian?

If so, oh man! Loosing virginity to a Russian woman would be so cool. Who manages their first time with Russian lass?!

Well except Russian lads, that is! :p

So we were laying on the bed, at first just some talking going on. Eventually it moves to us getting undressed and we get on with the dirty deed. So I’m on her and basically doing everything a man does to a woman. We’re kissing! We’re love biting! We’re running our hands through each other’s hair which by the way is completely awesome! We’re humping, or I’m humping and she’s getting humped! And…my parents burst into the room!

WTF! WTF! WTF!

I can’t begin to recall how many explicit wet dreams I’ve had involving guys and not a single one of them has ever been interrupted by my parents. Not a single one!

“What the hell are you doing?”, my mom screams.

“What are you doing here?”, I reply back.

“We came to check on if you were studying or sleeping!”, my dad responds.

“Get out! Get out!”, I start shouting. Thankfully I wrapped the sheet around myself and her, even my dreams self is extremely self-conscious.

I push them out of the room and follow them out, still in sheets. “What the heck were you doing?”, my mom asks again.

“What does it look I was doing?”

“Why the hell were you having sex?” my dad asks.

“I wanted to know if I can have sex with a woman even though I’m gay!” I scream.

“Your gay?!” they respond in unison.

I don’t remember exactly what happened after that, but I recall some more fighting taking place and me screaming out of this huge castle tower, “I’m gay! I’m gay!”, I do believe my parents did something like locking me up there.

I woke up from it all with this weird spinning feeling in my head. I looked around and about to see where I was. For a moment I thought it had really happened and I buried myself in blankets. But then I remembered that I have a presentation due today and realized I have to get my butt to college by 9AM.

Whew! I’m still in the closet!

I lay back and recalled the entire dream. I don’t know why but I just did it, and then I erupted into snorting laughter. So it’s settled now, I’m meant to be gay. If I try to be straight, my brain will sabotage me and ruin whatever I am trying to do. Guess I’m stuck with guys!

Sorry girls! You have to count me out. My mind is reserving me a guys!

Marry Me

One of my aunts from States is over these days. Every time I tune into her conversations with my mom, they are talking about somebody's marriage or getting somebody married. Both of them are searching for suitable partners for their children, my mom for my sister and my aunt for her son. Inter-family is not our thing so no chance of my cousin getting paired with my sister. Also my sister wouldn't give two hoots to a guy if he isn’t a practicing doctor, go figure!

I hate marriage talks, especially talks about my marriage. HATE ‘EM! I'll give some examples perhaps in later posts. I do believe I've gotten quite artful at dodging them. But then I also believe that my neighbor would reciprocate my crush one day. I'm so not reliable!

I was over at Ryan's place yesterday. Ryan has recently gotten obsessed with Bruno Mars. He was playing his latest album Doo-Wops & Hooligans over and over again on his PC while we were talking. The song ‘Marry Me’ is a personal favorite of mine as well. Listening to that song, it bought up my frustration with marriage talks and I vented it all out to Ryan. “I thought you loved marriages?!”, he told me.

“I do!”, I replied. “But I don’t like to talk about mine!”

“Why?”

“C’mon, don’t be so dumb!” I told him. The clueless expression on his face told me that he didn’t, or perhaps he was just playing with me. “Why talk about something that will never happen?”

“And it will never happen because?”, he asked.

“I’m gay! I can’t marry a guy and I won’t marry a girl!” I told him getting irritated.

“But what if you find the right guy?”, he asked me.

“We’ve already established that there is no right guy for me! And even then no point of having a marriage if it doesn’t involve the blessings of the parents!”

“But you talked about marriage with Nathan?”, he asked me.

“I used to tease him with those, Ryan! I never intended to have a marriage. He never intended to have one. If things had proceeded into something stable and long-lasting, the closest thing we’d have to a marriage is living under the same roof, and if it went really well maybe a mutual exchange of rings but that was as far as we would have gone!” I told him getting irritated.

Ryan could see that the talk had upset me a lot. “That conversation got really loud. I hope no one’s home!”, he got up and went out to look around. “My grandmother is here but she’s downstairs. Keep your voice low when you mention the G word around my house. You know how homophobic my brothers are!”

“Sorry!”, I apologized. I was in the worst of moods. I so badly want a marriage but there is no chance in this world that I can have one and live with it. I absolutely refuse to ruin a girl’s life; she deserves someone who would be attracted to her and not her brother. Since the final decision would be mine, nobody can force me into a marriage. I have firmly decided not to marry. Gracie was an exception to the rule, I do feel an attraction for her. However Gracie is interested in someone else, so really no point in barking up that tree. I was contemplating on this thought and suddenly Ryan pulled me by my hand.

“Will you marry me?” he asked.

“What?” I exasperated.

“Sssh! Not so loud!” he whispered. “Just pretend for a second. Just for a second pretend that I am asking you to marry me.”

“Seriously?”

“ Marry me?” he whispered in to my ears. I remember how Nathan would often say ‘I got goose bumps all over my body’ but I couldn’t relate to it because I never knew exactly how goose bumps felt. But at that moment, it was like my entire body was one giant goose bump.

I still took sometime for me to respond because it all was really freaky but I decided to go along with the flow. “Oh Ryan! I have waited so long for you to ask me, I really don’t know what to say!”

“Say ‘Yes’!”

“But what about George?” I pretended.

“He doesn’t deserve you! I can treat you so much better than he ever will!”

“Movies, dinner and dancing every night?”

“Every night till your eyes run streams, you weigh 180 kilos and your feet start killing you!”

“Asshole!” I mouthed pushing away Ryan. We both ended up laughing over the entire scenario. I never knew Ryan was so good at impromptu.

In all seriousness, I would love love LOVE if a guy ever got down on a knee in front of me and asked me to marry him, or just plain get involved into something serious. I’m sick of running after men that do not want a relation in the first place but only consider it once I suggest them so. The worst part is that it has made me fearful about getting involved with anyone. I told Ryan about this fear of mine, his reply gave me hope. Perhaps one day there would be a guy who would get down on his knee for me, I just hope I am ready at that time to accept it and my parents are not objecting to it either.

I know it all seems impossible but a man can dream, can’t he?!

Is There A Doctor In The House?

Mrs Cohen is heartbroken. Her son has declared he's gay and intends to move in with his male lover. Mrs Goldblum comes round to comfort her. "Look on the bright side," she says. "He might be sleeping with another man, but at least he's a doctor..."

I read this joke somewhere earlier this week and wanted to share it with my mom. So I copy pasted the joke and emailed it to her - it's a trend with the two of us and also my mom loves getting any sort of mail. Yesterday I happened to remember it and asked her about it. She told me that she had read it and enjoyed it quite alot. To say that I was surprised, would be an understand. I predicted that she would enjoy it but not 'quite alot'. You see anything to do with homosexuality tends to put creases on my mother's forehead immediately.

I have wondered at times how it would be to have a boyfriend/life-partner who belongs to the same line of work as I do. I have no fetish for doctors but I must admit good doctor do tend to intrigue me. There is something about doctors that symbolizes determination, intelligence, a spark for life and class. People employed in the medical field - doctors, dentists, nurses, etc; have always had a certain advantage when it comes to being chosen as a life partner. In the Pakistani society getting married to a doctor - especially if you're not a doctor, is considered to be nothing less than amazing. In most eyes, you are instantly labeled as the 'It' couple. Everybody wants to be friends with you! Everybody wants you over for dinner! Everybody is in love with you! Why?

The answer is extremely simple but also incredibly stupid. Doctor/Doctor and Doctor/Non-Doctor couples have a higher chance of raising doctor babies. Making a good contact right now means your child could possibly be considered as a suitable match later on. In my opinion that's one of the most ridiculous things one can ever do because there is no guarantee that the baby which pops out of the so-called holy vagina is even going to choose this career or be successful at it.

Nowadays it's no longer about being a doctor. It's about being a great doctor. Keeping up with the latest medical trends, having the highest patient satisfactory rate, doing some ground breaking research and all that sort of stuff. Textbook supremacy is about as backward as black and white television.

Finding a gay doctor is going to be extremely hard. There are only five gay guys I know who are practicing medicine and two of them are completely off the shelf. I'm talking about Ryan and Junior, in case somebody is wondering. Given the restricted number of guys who are actually interested in establishing something long-term, it's going to be extremely difficult to find a doctor amongst them. Also is it going to be awkward sharing work space?

Perhaps!

Given that our entire agenda involves dealing with the public if the word gets out that we're gays, it could lead to a shift n the patient's notion about coming to us for a consultation. As bogus it is sounds, patients should not be considered with what I do outside of the hospital. But when he/she comes to me, it's his/her sand-box and I need to treat them to the best of my capabilities keeping my personal thoughts and feelings aside.

Doctors and dentists also tend to earn alot. By alot I mean freak'in filthy rich, wiping-asses-with-hundred-dollar-bills-rich! The first nine spots in the Biggest Earners list are held by various professions all belonging to the field of Health Care. CEOs grab the 10th spot, but the next five again belong to us again. However cushy our work sounds, it's extremely risky. Every patient who comes to us with whatever complaint be it a simple flu, a broken bone or cancer is hopeful and wants to get better. We have to do our job! We have to get them well soon! Malpractice is the real thing we have to worry about, that is omission by a health care provider that deviates from the norm and in turn causes injury or harm to the patient. That's shit scary!

Going back to doctors being top-notch earners, if the point of life comes along to adopt a child we would have the financial check box done with a big fat tick. But with the busy schedules doctors tend to have, is it advisable for both partners to be doctors?

I have alot of cousins who have married doctors and have kids of their own, they seem to be doing a good job. But a large part of the upbringing is being done by their parents aka the kids grandparents. Worth going to my mom for raising the kids?

I believe she's done a fantastic job with us guys. But the whole family set-up is definitely something my mother won't find easy to digest. And also, would landing a doctor partner, make it any easier for my parents to accept my sexuality any easier?

Once again, I'm doubtful about it. My parents- especially my mom would love to see her children have life partners who are doctor. But it's not a necessary thing. My elder sister is such a staunch follower of this rule that she doesn't even consider a proposal if it doesn't come from a doctor. By the way, my sister is a practicing doctor herself. She believes that work plays a very important part of the daily conversation at home and if her partner doesn't know a flu from a cold she would really have nothing to talk about with him. In my opinion, that's incredibly selfish and snobbish. But she's my sister so I can't say anything about this to her!

I've still got time and perhaps I'll date around to see what's out there. It's not a must for him to be in the Health Care business, it's just a plus point. I'm fine with almost anything except for porn stars, bull fighter, politicians, weather forecasters, castration experts, clowns - these are just a few I can name from the top of my head.

Also I'm going to completely loose it and strangle whoever asks me if I feel excited when performing a prostrate examination. I've done two and believe me, there is nothing pleasant about them. Yuck!

On a separate note, this post happens to be my 100th post and the next post is going to be the Blog Awards post. I've got my eyes on a few blog who deserve these trinkets of appreciation!

Youarenotgettingany@yahoo.com

Last week I was being repeatedly messaged by a 51 year old guy on my Facebook profile. He had a gay profile on Facebook and was browsing the various group for a booty call. He had posted a few pictures of himself trying to seem seductive but in reality, he was taking the term Hot Mess to a whole new level. Besides the fact that he was browsing Online for sex, there were two things fundamentally wrong with his profile.

Firstly he was married, it was clearly displayed on his profile. Secondly he was looking for guys younger than 25, especially 'young' and 'yummy' teenagers. Yes!, those were his exact words, although the word 'young' was mis-spelled. One look at his profile and he was immediately cast into the deepest corners of my rejected pile.

He messaged me a few times asking stuff like what's my age, where do I live, what position do I prefer, what do I prefer more; long-term relations or one night stands and then some more. Was it annoying?

Hell Yes!

It was incredibly annoying. I kept on responding to him as nicely as I could manage, only answering the questions that I felt were appropriate. I told him clearly that I am only interested in meeting like minded guys and nothing else. When he didn't object to that, I proceeded to ask him a couple of questions. I wasn't really interested but was just trying to make a conversation. It turned out that he had his own business which was doing quite well, or so he told me. He had three children of which the eldest was about 5 younger than me. My mind clicked immediately and I realized that he's searching for guys that are roughly the age of his eldest child. I sort of lost it after that and wanted to lash out really bad at him. This was so bloody disgusting!

I guess he got busy after that or something, he did not message me again until much later in the night. Still not having picked up on my signs of dislike, he asked for my email address. Not wanting another freak on my hands, I planned to reject his offer. But then in another brilliant flash, I decided to play a little joke on him. I told him my email address is youarenotgettingany@yahoo.com.

Hoping to have finally gotten rid of him, I settled into watching Gossip Girl with a glass of milk. Five minutes I got a message from him saying so very innocently, "Dear, that address is not working".

I laughed so hard that I sprayed a good part of the keyboard and the monitor with milk. And I didn't stop laughing. Was he playing dumb?, I wondered. But I didn't care to find out if that was really the case. Also I had a milk droplet coated monitor and keyboard to clean.

Some people just don't get it! Heavens bless them! Whoever said that there is a sucker born every minute,  certainly knew what he or she was talking about. I know it was incredibly mean of me to pull that crazy stunt but some people just don't get it when I tell them to stay away. You literally need to beat them away with a stick!

I didn't respond to him after that but I am kind of curious as to if he is going to be messaging me again. Wonder what email address can I give him next time?.

Suggestions are welcome!

Not The Better Person

I cracked yesterday. I cracked really really bad. I had a rough day at college when I couldn't complete the assigned task in the time alloted to us and hence I didn't get any grade on it. But then nobody else got a grade either, nobody could complete the assignment. Our new instructing doctor is such an impossible person, he wanted us to take history, perform a physical examination, reach a differential diagnosis and counsel in 20 minutes. I'd seriously like him to take a go at that AND meet patient's satisfaction at the same time. For me, patient satisfaction is the most important thing. If the patient doesn't like how you treated him, he won't come around for a second time if anything goes wrong. The no-grade charade spoiled my entire mind set for the rest of the day. I was in the worst of the moods.

When I got home, I went straight to sleep and got up about an hour later from the alarm I had set because I needed to study for a test next week. In just a moment I looked up to the calendar in my room and saw the date being highlighted with a blue high-lighter. I had done that for every month of the year so that I don't forget to wish 'Happy Anniversary' to Nathan each month. Not that I needed any help, I am quite proud to say that I never ever forget important dates. I had done it just in case I forget, it would remind me. Better safe than sorry! ;)

The moment I saw the high-lighted date, something like a flare went up inside me and I felt extremely furious. In that blur of a moment I shot a text to Nathan. Right now, I'm hating myself for doing that! Obviously ever since the break up I had not planned on messaging Nathan. After the recent falling out, I felt I needed to control myself because if I let myself go I am very liable to say something hurtful and regretful. And that is exactly what happened yesterday!

I messaged him something about how if he had just let me gotten used to the distance we would not have broken up and we could have been celebrating another month today. Also and rightfully so, I regretted it five minutes later.

I fell back on my bed and wondered why couldn't I be like one of the composed people who don't act like freaks after they break up? They aren't obsessed about what the other person is doing right now or if the other person still may possibly have some feelings. They are hurt but that in no way let emotions hinder their everyday normal functioning.

I also regretted another thing at that moment. I regretted that when Nathan and I started corresponding after the break up, I didn't tell him that 'Hey! I'm not over you yet! I need some more time or maybe alot more time!'.

I remember telling Ryan about it and he was very surprised. "You two are talking again?", he asked me.

"Yeah!" I told him. I knew even before telling him that he would be against it. Even a part of me thought that I'm taking it too fast with Nathan.

"Don't you think it's too soon?", he asked me. "It's been just a month!"

"I don't know! I didn't expect him to get over me so soon. I didn't expect us to start talking again in just a few weeks. I thought we would at least be on silent terms for like three to four months!", I told him.

"Are you over him?" he asked me.

"No!" I told him. "But I miss him and what if he's lonely?"

"Okay, he's not lonely!", he reasoned sharply."You told me yourself he's made some friends so he's got them! You take the time you need to get him out of your system and then get to him" he told me, "As a friend!"

Why didn't I listen to Ryan and tell Nathan that I need to time-out?! I could have prevented so much damage from happening to both of us. It would have been so easy for both of us. I wish I had acted like a better person, a person who could think rationally in such a situation. Like Ryan!

Funnily in the hurry to text Nathan, I mistakenly put down 8 months instead of the actual 7 months. Now he probably thinks I forgot counting as well. Man, I'm such a doofus!

Gotta Have Ryan

Ryan and I have been the best of friends for about 3 years and before that we were acquaintances for about 2 years. I never expected when I first met him that how much we would get involved into each other's lives and how much we have in common despite being as different as fire and water.

Ryan never struck to me as gay before he came out to me. Frankly speaking, I never expected running into a gay person in my college. I just didn't. I knew there were more like me but I doubted that fate would cross my paths with another one of us. Boy!, How much fate loves to play with me!

But on a side note, I'm glad that fate is such a playful puppy. I can't begin to count how many moments would have gone devoid of laughter or contemplating in confusion had Ryan not existed into my life like he does. The worst part of all this is probably that I'm not grateful about it, and perhaps even slightly negligent and careless about it. It's not that I haven't pushed him away but I can't really remember a moment when I told him how thankful I am of him. Perhaps that's because I know he would bounce of my genuine compliment with some sexual innuendo. But hey, that's Ryan!

We've got that stereotypical  friendship where one of the two is insanely good-looking, popular and extremely likable while the other one is shy, average looking, brainy and somewhat of a social miscast that's trying to fit in and just be one of the crowd. No need telling who's who! When we were in our second year of college and we had to make our clinical groups. Ryan had multiple offers but he choose to stick around with me and the group of friends I had made during my first two years. I got to know through another friend how some of the girls bashed about me to Ryan but he didn't give two hoots to them. As expected, I haven't thanked him for that. I have so much to thank him for, it's unbelievable. Where should I start from?

Even though we both drive on the same road, Ryan and I have completely different ideologies when it comes to being with men. Ryan is very composed and definite about what he wants, he has been in just one relation so far and that was before we got close. Around the time he came out to me, he was fresh off the love boat. Ryan cares alot about how I handle my gay social life. He doesn't believe in making friends Online because he thinks that's for people who are not confident about themselves. He thinks it's easy sitting behind a computer screen and being whatever you wants. If you are good in language skills, you can make others believe just about anything. How does he know this? He's paraded around as a damsel in his early teens preying on horny unsuspecting boys and men to show him their parts. Although I must also commend that he eventually sent an email to all of them explaining how he was really a boy and they all got punk'd. Roflmao!

It's not just the laughter he provides, but the numerous moments he has been the shoulder to cry on. Many of my gay friends ask me about why I haven't ever considered taking it to the next level with Ryan. To be honest, I just can't. We're the best of friends and we are in a great place. Given how my romantic history is, I'm also slightly afraid of taking our bond into a different direction. After breaking up with Nathan, I am even more scared to loose Ryan. I can't risk it!

I'll admit that I don't know where Ryan stands on this issue and as selfish this sounds, I do not want to know his view on it. But I'm not entirely cruel and heartless, I have never really gotten any signals from Ryan. Yes, we flirt. We flirt alot! We have even kissed once. Infact Ryan was the first person who has graced my lips, but even then it was a sudden moment. He had dared me that I'm scared to get intimate because I consider myself unattractive and fear rejection even if it's just for a one night stand. I argued firmly that I don't do one night stands so the prospect of rejection from one has never really haunted me. And in that moment, he leaned in and planted himself. My reaction to it was exactly like how the guy in the pink shirt reacted in this scene from the movie Dostana.

I'll definitely never ever forget this moment. Not in the sense that it was incredibly romantic, but because it was incredibly funny. Sometimes when Ryan would wink at me in a completely innocent or entirely playful manner and that whole scene would flash in my mind. But it's a moment and it'll always be a moment in my life!

The scene just mentioned and then some more have earned Ryan a permanent spot on my roster of "Essential People" of my life. I can bet that there will be more because with Ryan around you can definitely expect something to happen. And for all that, I gotta have Ryan in my life!

I Wanna See Your Peacock

This has got to be the most hilarious representation of the song to be ever created! Cute guys in skimpy clothes with some very cool choreography and the funny sexual innuendos, really how can someone not like this?

Ryan James Yezak is the driving force behind this fabulous creation. He was also the dude who worked on the California Gays music video, his version of California Gurls by Katy Perry originally. The video hit the WWW like a tsunami wave and alot of blogs jumped the on California Gays bandwagon. I'll be embedding that video later in the post as well.

The singer-songwriter-seductress Katy Perry herself says she can't top this. While I'm not entirely betting on that because money can do wonders, but this video is unforgettable. The guys could have notched up their acting skills abit but I can understand how they all must be feeling a little shy given the theme of the song. Also they could have used a male nurse. Male nurses can be very hot!

If Ryan ever comes across the blog, dude I'm so freak'in jealous of your creative streak but I'm also completely loving your interpretation! Gimme more.....please!

Cherry On Top

I got my very first blog award from Falen, author of Colorful Rants of a Fed Up Sista and so I had to make a post about it. I will be shamelessly whoring this one out, you know because I really don't see myself getting another one. LOL!

So the rules of the award go as follows;
1. Thank the person who gave this award to you
2. Copy the award and put it in your blog
3. List three things you love about yourself
4. Post a picture you love

So as specified, thanks alot Falen!! You've been following my blog since the past month and a half or something like that. Your first appearance with the most amazing comment on the post All The Lovers (And Haters) and have been coloring my blog with you're feisty sassy persona. You know something; For a chick, you are pretty awesome! Kidd'in! ;)

Three things I love about myself! Well I love that I'm creative and I don't sit down quietly in doing things as people would normally expect me. I like to do things and do them on my own terms in my own style. A 100% original one-of-a-kind Phunkiness!!

Another thing I can lord out and about is that I'm very optimistic. It takes something really big to pull me down, people who know me often remark how can I smile and laugh all the time. Ryan finds that a little freaky because he believes anybody who is as happy as me needs to be checked out by a shrink!

Lastly, I keep on meeting amazing and wonderful people where ever I go. I know I've butted with quite a few heads but I'm very thankful for all the heads who butted other heads with me or for me. You make the world go round for me!

Lastly I have to share with y'all a picture I love, so here goes nothing;

I also will be spreading the love and forward this award to a few of my fellow bloggers, I shall be posting that list soon. I tried doing it right now, but the links kept messing up! :(

Also I've added a chat box in the side-bar on the right side of the screen, so feel free to drop a line anytime for anything you feel like!
