Vest tops and black shorts from River Island

Just went shopping and came home with these! I love the shape and looseness of the vest tops and the worn effect of the shorts. Summer 2011 needs to hurry up!

Christmas Shopping, River Island clutch and top, Bobby Pin compact, Clinique concealer, Bourjois mascara

Yesterday I went to River Island and Boots.

For Mum
In River Island I bought a clutch bag for my mum. It has rings on the top so when you slide your hand in it looks like you are wearing rings! It isn't a surprise, she knows she is getting it (and she is very happy about it!)

For Friends
In Boots I bought my four close friends a Bobby Pin Lip and Eye Compact. The other 13 friends are getting something edible! And yes... 13. Haha it makes me seem very popular but it is mainly due to having friends that each have a couple of close friends and I feel obliged to get all of them presents because they will probably get me something.

Pour Moi
For Me
When we were in River Island I saw a lovely grey slouchy sweater/top. My mum bought it for me and I am a very happy girl right now :)

When we were in boots my mum bought two things for me for christmas that I wanted.

001 Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer in Moderately Fair. I have got though two or three of these in my life. Even though it's main purpose is to smooth wrinkles (which I don't have yet just in case you are wondering!) it does just about anything. It covers spots really well and hides dark circles. I would recommend it to anyone.
Line Smoothing Concealer

002 This is a completely random choice of mine. The Bourjois Elastic Mascara. It's focus is length and that is my priority when it comes to my eyelashes so I guess I will have to see how it turns out. My mum is keeping it from me until Christmas - I'm looking forward to trying it out!

12 High Street Finds - peter pan collars, white lace and more...

Helloooo :)

Here are some hight street items of clothing I found after browsing the web that I'm lusting after.

You can probably see that I am battling with two sides of my style taste. One side is girlie and loves peter pan collars, white lace and pretty macs and then my other side is more grungy and likes slouchy grey items, oversized tees and doc martens. I like the idea of mixing it up though, for example a pretty dress with doc martens and an oversized cardigan.

Well enough with the rambling! Take a look at these:

Cream 3/4 Sleeve Lace Body - CreamStone Twill Mac - Stone
Boston Tank Top - Washed GreyBasic Speckle Sweat - Grey Marl

P.S. I would probably be less brave than the model wearing the see-through black shirt - I would wear it with a black vest on underneath!

Over-knee socks, a lace cardigan and a carousel necklace.

I need to go shopping seriously! You may have noticed on my blog its wishlist after wishlist.

The problem with this weekend is I have so much coursework to do and my mum is away both days doing mad things like mountain biking. She is such an activity junkie - she recently took part in the 3 peak challenge and did it in 22 hours. I am very proud of her. But I need her for shopping because if I go with my friends it's fun and everything but I hardly end up buying things, we just end up talking! I prefer going with my mum for serious shopping because she has a good eye for things. Sometimes if she really likes something she will pay for it which is an added bonus! Our tastes either clash badly where one of us hates something the other loves but other times we both love the same thing.

Anyway next weekend hopefully we will go shopping and here are some items that I have added to my ever growing wishlist...

Next socks £6                       Oasis cardigan £35                        Monsoon necklace £10
Lace Insert CardiganCarousel Long Pendant Necklace

1. The socks really really like. I like the knitted texture of them and the neutral colour means they would go with most things.

2. The cardigan is gorgeous I love the lace detail around the collar. I first saw it n Diana Vickers 50s shoot in Look magazine. Here is the picture:

3. The long carousel necklace is so cute and quirky. I love it.
