Our take: These two lovebirds have managed to keep their relationship away from the media glare. Guess that has helped them sustain it over so many years. Their parents, who were earlier not too keen on the match, are now comfortable with it. Even though Riteish recently denied any plans of marriage, we wouldn’t be surprised if wedding bells ring soon! 

 Punit Malhotra-Sonam Kapoor

Our take: Director Punit and Sonam became friends first before love came a-calling. Though they haven’t admitted to anything yet, their close pals have confirmed that they are more than just good friends. They have stood by each other in the last couple of years and Punit has constantly been by Sonam’s side through her health problems. It looks like a solid foundation to build a relationship on, doesn’t it? If they manage to handle their respective stardom and success with maturity, they could make this a lasting affair. 

 

Ranveer Singh-Anushka Sharma

Our take: This duo is currently riding the wave of success and shares a great chemistry on and off screen. Ranveer is enjoying loads of female attention (Case in point: Sonakshi Sinha) and has always maintained that he is in no mood for a serious relationship. Though Anushka adores him, we hear she gets put off by his flirtatious and loud behaviour. Wethinks it’s quite a fiery relationship, but one that could fizzle out soon.

Deepika the 'Tattoo Queen'?

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been chosen as the "tattoo queen" by the organisers of the first Tattoo Convention in India.

The 25-year-old star sports tattoos of her former boyfriend's initials and another one of an anklet.

After watching her in a remixed song in the upcoming film Dum Maaro Dum, IndiaInk Invention got in touch with the model-turned-actress and requested her to visit their first-ever convention which took place here on April 10.

They were keen on her presence at the expo as they consider the Om Shanti Om actress to be the "tattoo queen". However, the actress could not attend the convention as she was abroad for a film shoot.

The convention's organiser Manoj Thakur, partner at Par Excellence Entertainment, said, "Deepika's absence was felt, especially at an event that she would have readily identified with.

With her own much-written about RK tattoo at the base of her neck and the cutting-edge Dum Maro Dum tattoo she's seen sporting in the movie, she would have been the perfect ambassador for this tattoo expo."

As Deepika was shooting in London for Desi Boyz',she could not attend the event, but forwarded the invitation to her Dum Maaro Dum team. Abhishek Bachchan, Prateik and Rohan Sippy attended the convention instead.

The cast of the film launched the special Dum Maro Dum tattoo at the convention.

Deepika Padukone's forthcoming films take her to London's cooler climes. She beats the heat with Rohit Dhawan's Desi Boyz, Rajnikanth's Rana and Homi Adjania's untitled project with Saif Ali Khan.

However, she will make her appearances during the IPL season.

She muses, "It's all for work. One has to keep travelling, this time it's almost for three long months. But, I do plan to come back when my schedules allow me."

Deepika Padukone gets unusual gifts from fans. Feels it is a reaction to her raunchy item number

Deepika Padukone gets fan mail delivered to her house on a daily basis. Most of it consists of soft toys, chocolates and greeting cards from fans professing their love for her.

However, this time when she returned from her Aarakshan shoot in Bhopal, the actress was shocked to see nine skirts sent to her! This is the first time she has got such gifts.

Different place

A source reveals, "Usually her fan mail is kept in a separate room. So whenever she comes back from outdoor shoots, she personally sits and reads through each one. 

There are times when she's replied to her fan's letters as well. But nothing prepared her for nine skirts!"

The length of the skirts vary. "Some are extremely long, while others are short.  She feels these are reactions to her Dum Maro Dum item number.

Cover-up

While some fans might have liked her sexy look, others want her covered up. The lyrics in the song also refer to the skirt (Aaj mere liye chair khich raha hai, kal meri skirt khichega. Khichega ki nahi?).
