Shahrukh Khan is leaving no stone unturned to make his highly ambitious project, ‘Ra.One’ the biggest venture in Bollywood. He has not only roped in international technicians and
singer Akon but according to the latest buzz, the makers are trying to rope in Lady Gaga for the premiere of the show.

Recently SRK’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment tweeted, “Breaking News: Lady Gaga may attend Ra.One premiere!”

Few days back, Shahrukh Khan had admitted that he was eager to collaborate with the pop star. “I have been chatting up with her (Lady Gaga) over a song that I want to do with her and once her manager had said ‘Lady Gaga wants to introduce her audience to you and she wants to be introduced to your audience’. So one understands she believes in pure, simple wonderful business”.

Well, Lady Gaga’s presence will surely raise the temperature of the event.

Ajay Devgn and Aamir to clash

Actor Ajay Devgn who recently delivered a blockbuster hit in ‘Singham’ is all set to challenge none other than Aamir Khan.
https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF9BNth7jkteLmAtU57ewqBihB_CqtwpWsnwzSXIvGELlD8BLl_HxQzoTz2NO-eNTGJdhR3oUt0pPmkxq-s0-2nVhIkgaZBAo1uhbfij8sNOI1Alq0wgAqysbJ6EkSQNBRMl_yfnBWa3VY/s400/aamir-khan-ghajini+3.jpghttp://bollywoodactresskajol.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/ajay-devgan-singham-six-pack-abs-photos4.jpg?w=328&h=400

His forthcoming film `Tezz` has been slotted to release with Aamir Khan-starrer in January 2012.

Apparently, Ajay’s flick `Tezz` directed by Priyadarshan was all set to release in November this year. But, a possible clash with Ranbir Kapoor`s `Rockstar` didn`t seem to be a good idea.

Ajay who is on a career high with the success of ‘Singham’ has proved that he too has a marketing mind.
Sources informed a daily that the Ajay-starrer will now release on January 26, 2012. And its release date will clash with Aamir Khan`s film being directed by Reema Kagti.

A source said to a daily, "The producers have obviously weighed the pros and cons, and taken the decision."

With two heavyweights competing coming January it sure looks like the clash of the titans.

Salman Khan dating Shreya Saran?

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimP3t0Pjq2kCQsj2T0F6JJUNifZOVuCgRlbWKZaryOIqmUl779KeB0Bu4f20TazKVAgsDkLnh-kKFhIPCF6itC-pWCKscSlNemr6KSQo3H1QunL8EWbtMA-Q9J1uuJlskK48jV7y7FfGU/
Bollywood is agog with reports of the friendship between Salman Khan and the South Indian actress Shreya Saran.Shreya Saran surprised everyone by walking in for Arpita Khan's birthday party a few days ago and then comfortably mingling with the birthday girl's brother Salman. "Saran looked very comfortable with Salman. Naturally, Salman had invited her. Nobody can gatecrash into Salman's party," said a source.

While a certain section of people believe it to be more than what meets the eye, the others say the two actors are just good friends. Shreya, who was a huge success down south, ventured into Bollywood with the film Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003.

Her 2007 film Awaarapan made people sit up and take notice. However, she soon faded into oblivion."Salman is known for building the careers of heroines in B town. He has resurrected the careers of many. It won't be tough for Salman to provide a launching pad for Saran. As it is, Saran is talented and attractive," added the source.

According to a source, "Shreya and Salman kindled their friendship during the Celebrity Cricket League that concluded in June. The two have kept in touch ever since."

At the audio launch of Markendeyan in Chennai in June, Salman and Shreya's chemistry fuelled the gossip mills further. Shreya was in fact so busy talking to Salman at the event, that she missed out her name being called put on stage.

Happy Birthday Kishore Da

Well today was the birthday of the late great Kishore Kumar.Hes one of the greatest singers of our history.
We should remember Kishore da for his voice and amazing comic timing in movies like Padosan and Shadu Aur Shaitan. My mother is a HUGE fan so I grew up listening to all his songs.
He was the famous voice for Rajesh Khanna,Rajesh even said he only wants Kishore to sing for him.

He also had some weird rumors. His own brother Ashok also put a comment on him being Mental,he use to talk to plants every morning. He was married first to Ruma Guha Thakurta, then evergreen beauty Madhubala(again weird rumors of emotional abuse on her last days raised) but Kishore converted to Islam just for her. Then he was married to Yogeeta Bali, who apparently was very unhappy w/the marriage, against her wishes or something but she later married Mithun Chakraborty. Last marriage was with Leena Chandavarkar who was w/him till his demise. His brother said their marriage worked because she was very understanding and patience compared to the other women who were in his life.

kareena Kapoor demands 10 crore for Heroine!

Ok so guys, after news that Kareena will be doing Heroine, here is some other news for you. Apparently Kareena Kapoor demands 10 crore for Heroine.
Here is the article from Times of india:

____________
Times of India, published august 1, 2011.

News has it that Kareena Kapoor has given her consent to Madhur Bhandarkar for Heroine starting March 2012.
However it is wrong to assume that this arrangement is confirmed. A trade source says, Kareena has reportedly

asked for a huge remuneration. Something to the tune of 10 cr for this project. She will only sign on the dotted line after if she gets paid handsomely. ''It is being suggested that UTV has assured Bebo that the price she gets for this movie will be the highest ever paid to a Bollywood heroine.
However no one either from Kareena's side nor from UTV is saying the figure being negotiated is a reported 10 cr.
One hears that Heroine has now become a prestige project for UTV and Madhur. And both are willing to walk lengthsto make sure the project happens.
Kareena was the first choice for this film. However when she dithered, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was brought in.

Of course Ash's pregnancy brought the film to an abrupt halt.Had Kareena done Heroine the first time around, she may never have been to negotiate such a heavy price for herself.
Incidentally one doesn't know what price Bebo will ultimately get. However Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got the highest everprice for the bi-lingual Robot(Tamil and Hindi). It is rumoured that she got paid something around 5-6 cr.
______________

What do you think? Do you think she is worth it? will you watch heroine?

Katrina was originally signed for this film that is supposed to go on floors in November 2011. However Katrina is meant to giving the very same dates to Yashraj Productions for a film with Shah Rukh Khan that is being directed by veteran Yash Chopra.

It is said that even before the dates had been worked out Kat reportedly leaked out the news to the pressthat she was in Ayan's film opposite Ranbir because she wanted to grab some quick headlines. Then Kat realised she was in a fix over the dates, so Deepu who has been dying to open her account with Dharma Productions and was also dying to get back together with Ranbir on screen has stepped in.

This was an article by the TOI a few days ago.It seems Deepika is confirmed to act opposite Ranbir.Do you want to see the ex-lovers back again on-screen,or do they simply bore you? There will be an official announcement soon! Your thoughts please.

Fan presents a 10 lakh rupees worth gift to the Bachchans

Indians want to be White:Freida Pinto

Here is an excerpt from her Interview in Popular british newspaper Independent where she talks about India's Fair Skin Obsession and struggles faced by dark skinned women in indian modeling industry/bollywood:

At college in her mid-teens, Pinto had realised that theatre and literature were her "calling". To earn some money, she began modelling. The well-mannered, inquisitive youngster found it easy working with photographers, but it was far from satisfying. Nor was the advertising work which followed.
"There were some very silly, stupid auditions that I had to go for. Like, there's this girl who walks into college and nobody's paying any attention to her because she is not using this particular cream – some kind of moisturiser or fairness cream, which I'm completely against. Then she'd put on the cream and all the boys would turn to her. And, I was like, 'Arrgh, this is so bloody cheesy!' If I ever got shortlisted for any of those parts I'd feel this sudden burden: 'Oh my God, if I do this, they'll pay me and I'll earn my pocket money – but then it's gonna be history.' Some of my ads are now on YouTube and it's just so embarrassing."
Embarrassing, yes, but she can laugh about them. "There is a silly Wrigley chewing-gum ad you should check out. It's so stupid. This guy pops a gum in his mouth and I fall from a tree on to his bike! Then he's got a girl!" Pinto cracks up with laughter at the memory. "So from doing cheesy stuff like that to doing something as fulfilling as Miral – I think I've come a long way."
She has, but Pinto can't, and won't, forget where she has come from. She despairs at the popularity of those "fairness creams" in Southeast Asia – bleaching potions to lighten the skin. "It's completely wrong medically – and culturally, of course, because it's giving people the wrong idea. My friend who's a doctor told me that she'd have parents come in with kids who were three years old, saying, 'Do something – I want my baby to be fair.'
"It's just this thing that people [in India] are so fascinated by white skin. There's a lot of people there who are naturally really pale. But the whole idea that you have to be fair – without naming actors, but there are actors who admit it – the fairer you are, the easier it is."
Even within Bollywood? "Oh yeah, absolutely. The amount of pancake cream on your face is ridiculous. I don't think it is required, by the way. If a cream can give you confidence then you really have to check your whole confidence department in the first place."
But Pinto herself is a bright beacon for Indian actors. Slumdog Millionaire showed that European and American audiences could be receptive to non-Western stories. And with her nonstop career since, this proudly Indian actress has succeeded in Hollywood without having to compromise by changing her looks or the way she speaks.
"Yeah," she nods, "but it's so funny. I feel like this whole idea of wanting something that you don't really have is also very American in a way. They love tanning! Why the hell are you tanning that much? Then in my country people want a fairer skin tone! It's just crazy.
"So when I was that Indian export that went to America and people were wanting that natural tan – which I don't really have to go through tanning [to acquire] – they were excited to include something in their culture, into their film industry, that was not really there already. Or not properly or appropriately represented. So I just feel that this was a change.

The DNA power list: Top 50 influentials

Number 7: Aamir Khan, actor & filmmaker
Marketer No 1
The man used to be known as a great actor, but now Aamir Khan has successfully emerged as one of the best marketing strategists in the entertainment industry. His marketing strategies have been widely copied by other Bollywood filmmakers.

Once again, his production — Delhi Belly — has scored at the box office this year, thanks to a clever marketing strategy. The government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 2003 and the Padma Bhushan in 2010 for his contribution to the arts.

Number 9: Shah Rukh Khan, actor & producer
Super, super star
Khan's My Name is Khan is the highest grossing Indian film of all times in the overseas markets. His production house has churned out a number of other good films with many more in the offing.

He was also one of the main pullers of audience for the IPL, which is now a successful franchise in India. A household name, Khan had the entire country rooting for him when he refused to comply with the Shiv Sena's threats to stop screening his films if he didn't apologise for his statement in favour of Pakistani players.

In 2005, the government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri for his contribution to Indian cinema.

Number 10: Salman Khan, actor & producer
Da Bang

Salman Khan is the only actor in Bollywood who has maintained his position over the last two decades.

The star has been able to maintain a steady market demand over this period and therein lies the power of his brand. Flops
and controversies notwithstanding, Khan has always emerged on top and delivered a hit when needed.

Today, he's known as the hero of the masses, the Rajinikanth of Bollywood. Ask any producer and he will tell you that Salman Khan will always ensure a good opening, be it at a multiplex in an
A-class city or a single-screen theatre in a remote town.

Number 11: Amitabh Bachchan, actor & producer

Pop on top
To be at the top for 40 years, you need to be made of different mettle. Amitabh Bachchan has seen himself become a legend over the years. Today, he still gives the younger generation of actors a run for their money.

When Bachchan decided to step into television, he created history: Kaun Banega Crorepati is, till date, the most successful reality show on Indian TV. Though all that success has taken its share of struggles, Bachchan has been able to tide over the challenges the way only he can.

Number 12: Lata Mangeshkar, singer
Queen of notes
She has lent her voice to over a thousand Bollywood movies and recorded songs in more than 36 regional and foreign languages. Lata Mangeshkar, who has won perhaps all the top awards available in India, including the Bharat Ratna, remains an active singer.

What she means to India is best evidenced by the fact that she has several awards instituted in her name. In 1984, the Madhya Pradesh government instituted a Lata Mangeshkar Award and in 1992, Maharashtra followed suit with a Lata Mangeshkar Award, too.

Number 13: Katrina Kaif, actress
SuperKat
The British beauty stormed the Bollywood scene in 2003, and has not looked back since. For someone who was raised in London and started her career as a model, Kaif has worked her way up to films.

Initially written off for her acting abilities, she stunned the industry with stellar performances in films like Race, New York, and Rajneeti, which catapulted her to the A-league in Bollywood. Counted among the top five Bollywood heroines today, Kaif has also been endorsing a number of products.

Number 20: Karan Johar,Filmmaker
Candid camera
Karan Johar started off in Bollywood as a nerdy side-kick in iconic film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. But today, he is one of the most successful filmmakers.

He is also a valued TV personality who can get anybody to come in on his talk show, no matter what camp they belong to, and get candid. Awards and honours have been par for the course for this gentleman.

Number 21: Ekta Kapoor, TV & film producer
A new script
Ekta Kapoor has always been referred to as the queen bee of the television industry. This year, she doesn't have anybody who can replace her in the industry.

Ekta has ventured into film production now and she is doing well in that sphere too. Her Ragini MMS got critical reviews like its predecessor Love, Sex Aur Dhoka.

Ekta has a slew of programmes lined up this year, which is sure to keep her in the top position in the television industry.

Number 27: Anurag Kashyap, Filmmaker
New Wave Cinema Man
Known for his out-of-the-box cinema, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's films can be best described as offbeat.

He believes in creating his own genre of cinema and not conforming to established rules of filmmaking. With path-breaking films including Black Friday, Dev D, Udaan, Shaitaan, and the controversial That Girl In Yellow Boots to his credit, Anurag is a pioneer of Indian new wave cinema.

As a story-writer, he had had hits like Satya and Kaun to his credit. He has also acted in several films including the recent I AM and Shagird.

Number 29: Kareena Kapoor, actor
Star, brand
Kareena Kapoor remains one of the most bankable stars in Bollywood. No major actor bats an eyelid before signing up opposite her. Kareena, with her acting prowess and glamour, has successfully reigned for almost five years now.

She is considered to be one of the hottest brand ambassadors because she has evolved as an actress.

Number 32: Hrithik Roshan, actor
Sheikh of shake

Hrithik Roshan remains one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars outside the Khans. He commands the highest price after the reigning trio and is one of the most sought-after celebrities when it comes to brand endorsements. Hrithik has a string of films lined up for release, including the sequel to his successful superhero film, Kkrish. Time and again, Hrithik has not only proved his versatility as an actor, but is also regarded as a great dancer.

Number 40: Ranbir Kapoor, actor
The good son
With a family legacy that boasts of people who have been in the industry for decades, Ranbir Kapoor had a lot to live up to when he took baby steps in Bollywood. His debut film Saawariya in 2008 tanked at the box-office, but his talent shone through. His brilliant portrayal of characters in Wake Up Sid, Rocket Singh and Rajneeti have clearly put him in the top bracket. With his good looks coupled with an interesting mix of films and endorsements in his kitty, Ranbir is here to stay.

Number 42: Naseeruddin Shah, film & theatre personality
The thespian
For many, Naseeruddin Shah's presence in a play or movie automatically grants the production a positive judgement; so strong is the association between Shah and quality work. While he is best known for his roles in movies such as Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, A Wednesday and Monsoon Wedding, it is theatre where Shah's legacy shines through. Shifting with ease between commercial cinema, arthouse movies and live theatre, Shah continues to produce plays of consistent quality. His most recent production was an Ismat Chugtai story

Number 43: Priyanka Chopra, actress
Dexterous & bewitching
She charmed the world when she was crowned Miss World in 2000, shortly after which she decided to enter Bollywood. "Yes, I'm pregnant" - Lara Dutta

Lara, Mahesh, how has life changed post marriage? Or has it, at all?
Life has not changed too much. We still have our respective careers, but the travel has increased since any time either of us is on a break, we fly to where the other is shooting or playing. We make sure our time is well spent.

How do both of you'll manage your careers with domestic life?
It's not as complicated as people make it out to be. Our jobs might not be "normal" because of the extensive travel it requires of us. But we've both been doing this for many years so the get-up-and-go lifestyle is second nature to us.

Lara, would you like to make an official statement confirming your pregnancy?
Yes, I'm pregnant and I am very excited.

Why deny your pregnancy all this while?
We have never denied it. There is a time and place to talk about every phase of life and this is a personal matter. We felt this is the right time to announce it and hence we have.

What are you looking forward to most, with regard to starting a family?
Well, there will be a new addition in our lives and that's something we are both excited about and looking forward to! Mahesh is pushing for a Bollywood star and I am pushing for a tennis player, so it's going to be a battle!

Lara, the rumour mills are buzzing with the gossip that you want to hang up your acting boots. Is this true?
Not at all! I love being part of the industry and whether it's writing, acting or producing, I will definitely continue to be involved in some way or the other. For now I am looking forward to the release of Don 2 and of course, the baby soon after.

****Wishing the couple all the happiness from pinkvillans & Lara a safe pregnancy!

Kareena Kapoor confirmed for 'Heroine'

Aishwarya came between me and Salman - Somy Ali

1. What do you think of the singles population today? Do you believe that singles are actively trying to date and find a match or do you think it is all a game and people aren’t serious?

I think it is a little bit of both. I think people in general are afraid to be alone and sometimes they put up with things that they should not simply because of societal pressures and the need to conform to the societal norm of being in a relationship. On the other hand, there are people that don’t care about the conformity aspect of being in a relationship, such as myself.

2.Cameron Diaz believes that marriage is a dying institution. According to her, we make our own rules. Do you agree or disagree? Why or why not?

Statistics show that lesser people are getting married and the divorce rate is ridiculously high. That tells us something. I personally believe that marriage is an institution you can’t wait to get in and once you’re in you can’t wait to get out.

3. Do you think it is possible for men and women to have the same capacity to love one another?

Absolutely. Once again that is very individual specific. I think the biggest factor in the divorces that are taking place, quite frequently is because there is not equal love in a marriage. But once again, I have to emphasize that it is extremely individual specific.

4. Tell us a little bit about your relationship with Salman Khan.

Salman was my first boyfriend. I had a huge crush on him as a teenager. The crush led me to leave Florida and move to India and join films just so I could find him and get married to him. You have a license of doing idiotic things when you’re 15. However, I do not have a single regret of pursuing my first love.

5. How would you describe Salman Khan?

They say if you can count four friends on your fingers and trust them blindly, you’re extremely fortunate. Salman happens to be one of them. He has a heart of gold and I know for a fact that if I were ever in need he would be the first person that I would call.

6. Do you have any regrets about your relationship with Salman Khan?

No regrets at all. I learned a great deal from Salman and his family. Teenage years are formative years for individuals, especially a young girl and spending my teenage years growing up in front of Salman has made me who I am today. Salman and his family taught me that it does not matter what religion one is, what culture one comes from, what makes a person a good person is their actions. He was a good role model to have growing up, outside of the boyfriend aspect of things.

7. Do you still keep in touch with Salman Khan?

Absolutely. Like I do with any other friend.

8. Who came between you and Salman Khan?

Aishwarya Rai

9. Who do you blame more for your breakup, Aishwarya Rai or Salman Khan?

Neither. They both did what they felt and believed was the right thing to do at that point in time. I don’t like to hold grudges. It will only affect my growth as a person.

10. Vivek Oberoi threw a press conference in 2003 regarding his altercation with Salman Khan. Do you believe what he said about Salman? Why do you think Vivek said those things regarding Salman?

I am not responsible for what other people say, but I would say this, anytime a person treats or speaks badly of someone else it usually stems from insecurity.

11. Do you attend Bollywood award ceremonies?

No.

12. Are you and Salman Khan still friendly? Does he visit you in the States at all? Do you visit him in India? When was the last time you guys met up?

The last time I saw him was in Bangkok. I was there for a women’s rights conference and he was there for a film shoot in May 2011. We caught up as friends would and talked about our non-profits. We both complimented each other about making a change for the better.
13. What was the reason you left India and a promising career in Bollywood?

To reiterate, I did not go to India for a career in Bollywood. I had a crush on an actor like any teenager does and I actually pursued the crush and went to find him. In hindsight now, I think it was extremely precocious for a 15 year old.

14. If given the opportunity, would you ever return to Bollywood?

No. I would not trade saving lives and my work with No More Tears for anything else in this world.

15. Do you miss making films?

I don’t miss being in films. I am working on a film for No More Tears at the moment.

16. What are your favorite Bollywood movies?

Maine Pyar Kiya, Monsoon Wedding, Tare Zameen Par, Black, and Fire.

17. Do you live alone?

My mother has been living with me for the past two months. She recently moved in and she has been a huge supporter for my work with No More Tears.

18. Do you wish you had a partner that completes you?

I think everyone secretly wishes that they had someone that understood them. I would be lying if I said I didn’t, however I haven’t found anyone that is equally passionate and understanding of my work as a human rights activist and me as an individual.

19.If you had one wish, what would it be?

For No More Tears to permeate globally and saves lives wherever it is needed.

20.Do you believe in soul mates?

No. There is no such thing.

21. What experience in your life led you to create the No More Tears Project?

I saw domestic violence growing up in Pakistan and then in my teenage years in India as well as in my adult years in the US. Domestic violence has no prejudices and is not class specific. It effects everyone! I wanted to take a stand against it which gave birth to No More Tears.

22. Where do you see yourself going in the future? How do you think your life will turn out? How do you want your life to turn out?

My present and my future are extremely contingent upon my work with No More Tears. I do plan on adopting a baby girl from Pakistan in the next 2-3 years. As I mentioned early the goal is to make No More Tears rescue lives first all over the US and then globally. As a progressive Muslim woman, I find it my duty to help young girls and women in Pakistan and anywhere else where they are being mistreated.

Thanks Somy! It was a pleasure talking with you!

xoxo

Zarine Khan in no mood to flaunt a bikini

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Zk6F7-r115Q/S3PozquBB0I/AAAAAAAABLg/XCOE53ZWYCw/s400/Zarine+Khan-actressinsareephotos.blogspot.com_5.jpg
What’s so great about donning a bikini? Zarine Khan perhaps thinks so and is in no mood to flaunt a bikini as she feels she doesn’t have a perfect body.

Why so, Zarine? We loved you in the song Character Dheela and you looked so fit and fab. The Veer beauty has trashed the rumours that she will be sporting a bikini in the Housefull sequel. In the first part, the three actresses, whether it was Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta or Jia Khan, all sported a two-piece. Thus speculations were rife that Zarine will also slip into a bikini for the sequel.

“There is no bikini scene in the film and moreover I haven’t got a body for it,” confirms the actress, who was even called Fatrina (a fatter version of Katrina Kaif) during her Veer days.

Then why gym-shym, Zarine? Isn’t she working hard on her body for Housefull 2? The actress says it is because her character needs to look glamorous, and also she wants to be at par with the other heroines. Aha...competition!

Housefull 2 also stars Asin, along with Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh.

Anil Sharma previously directed the movie Apne where the first time the trio of father and sons had come together on the big screen. The movie was also a hit at the box office. Keeping this trio's popularity in mind Anil Sharma decided to sign them again in his new 3 D venture Masters because the movie story is most preferable for Deol family. This is an action movie where all of three will be seen as con men.

The movie location will be to vary from Mumbai to United States and it is expected the shooting of the movie will be started by end of this year.

Will Deol family again succeed to spread his magic on audience? Just wait and watch!

Rakhi Sawant willing to marry Ramdev

Controversial Bollywood actress and TV personality Rakhi Sawant expressed her willingness to marry Yoga guru Baba Ramdev. While addressing mediapersons on the sidelines of a promotional event in New Delhi, Sawant spoke of how she also admired Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi. The Drama queen admitted that Ramdev`s yoga sessions have made an impact on her life.

Known to be in limelight for all wrong reasons and numerous controversial acts, she has always been in the news for her raunchy videos to her controversial stay on `Bigg Boss`, or walking out of `Nach Baliye` finale in a huff and leaving Salman Khan high and dry.

If this was not enough to satiate her hunger for publicity, she hit headlines for her infamous romance with commoner Abhishek Awasthi, followed by a kissing episode with singer Mika. Her `Rakhi Ka Swayamvar` on NDTV Imagine opened a pandora`s box that not only entertained people but also had the gossip columns buzzing for months.

All this helped her in paving way to one of Bollywood`s most sophisticated filmmakers Karan Johar`s chat show `Koffee With Karan`.

For the last one year Rakhi has been constantly courting controversy for her non-stop bloopers and blunders on the reality show `Raki Ka Insaaf`. If one tries to list her bunglings on the small screen, it would be difficult to pen all as she has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons for more than five years. No wonder she is crowned the controversy queen.

Analyzing the rise and rise of Katrina Kaif

One can not deny the fact that Katrina Kaif is the #1 actress today. ZNMD's success has catapulted her to the top slot at the box office. She has consistenly given hits, has a huge box office pull and today can be considered a top brand. There is also a news report that came out recently that the BJP is trying to get Katrina for their election campaign. Now that says a lot.

Katrina has achieved all this with not much of acting prowess. She can merely speak good hindi and above all she comes from a foreign land where Bollywood was very foreign to her.

Now coming to my question, how do you think Katrina Kaif achieved this stardom? Salman Khan was a huge factor in the beginning. But Salman has helped many other female stars and they did not achieve fraction of what Katrina has achieved.

In my opinion, it is Katrina's smart choice of movies and also her non controversial attitude towards others. You hardly see her bitch or speak ill about anyone in print or Tv interviews. She is very professional, hard working and dedicated as quoted by Deepika Padukone. She is in good terms with everyone in the industry.

I think Katrina will only reach higher grounds here-on. Her career graph can be an interesting case study. She inspires millions of girls and proves that if one has the drive and is dedicated, the world can be at your foot.

Please share your thoughts on her success. Please try not to be mean and stick to the subject matter.

Madhuri Dixit will now play the role in ‘Heroine’.

There have been strong rumors about Madhur Bhandarkar trying to rope in the Kapoor Gal ever since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opted out of the Project. Kareena Kapoor was the original choice for this movie but had refused the role because of objections about the smoking and drinking scenes in the film. Madhuri Dixit has sign the dotted lines and is slated to have agreed to Play Heroine.
