I wore this today for going shopping with my mum. I came home with a high waisted patterned skirt from River Island which I cannot wait to team with my new black bandeau from Urban Outfitters! I think that would make a good outfit for my birthday party, which is coming up soon. The only thing is, I don't know what to do for my party. I have completely gone off the idea of having a house party because 1. The invites are too stressful. 2. I don't want the house to get ruined and 3. I probably wouldn't enjoy being the host. In fact, I would quite like a small party now. I am thinking of having a few friends round for a barbecue or maybe just going out to a restaurant. If you have any other ideas please let me know. Thanks!
I have recently come back from my Duke of Edinburgh Silver practice expedition. It was fun overall but my body ached from carrying a heavy rucksack for miles! A funny incident occurred. I'm assuming you all know how to make hot chocolate from a sachet. You pour the powder in then add hot water, yes? Well, it appears that one of the boys in my group did not know this. The most bizarre sight in the trip happened when we caught this boy innocently leaning over his mess tin (a box-shaped saucepan) with his hot chocolate sachet floating in the heated water. The rest of the group and I were in fits of laughter and his only excuse was 'my mum makes my hot chocolate'.
Tonight, I watched Britain's Got Talent, mainly because my favourite comedian Micheal McIntyre is one of the judges! If you are also a fan of his, I recommend you read his autobiography. It is the funniest book I have ever read. I'm not ashamed in admitting that I cry quite easily when watching emotional things on TV. Britain's Got Talent made me cry twice. The first was over the adorable 91 year old Grandad that used to make spitfires for the war. The second was when the Romanian break dancer's eyes welled up because he received three yes'. I am far too soft.
