london day trip

1. I went to London today with my parents. It mainly involved shopping on and around Oxford Street. Despite not finding a prom dress and prom shoes, I managed to buy other stuff! A cream sheer blouse from Zara, a white dress and an American flag top from Topshop and gold heart, horse-shoe and flower stud earrings from River Island. My mum kindly bought me my very first pair of Hunter wellies in violet. Here is a picture of the earrings and wellies, you will see the clothes in future outfit posts!


2. We had a lovely lunch at Browns restaurant. I had fillet steak (medium) with peppercorn sauce and chips - my favourite! For dessert, a hot chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. Mmmmm...

3. We had a quick walk around the Royal Academy of Art. I was quite disappointed with the selection. It seems to be that I usually find modern art peculiar and/or vulgar. I find old Victorian and renaissance type paintings more pleasing to the eye. But that's just my opinion.
