Topshop dress, Next heels
The party on Saturday was great, it was a good start into 2011. I really want a house party for my birthday this year but I don't want the house to get trashed. Somebody clumsy always spills their drink on the house or on somebody else's clothes. (Usually mine, grrrr...) I might end up just having a restaurant party but that means I cannot invite a lot of people and for my next birthday I have my heart set on having a big party. Whether or not that will actually happen is a different thing altogether. Does anyone have any ideas for a big party that doesn't involve alcohol? My dad wont let me have a party with alcohol because he says he doesn't want to be responsible if anything goes wrong.
I know you have all seen a glimpse of this dress in my previous posts but here it is in more detail. I am pleased with this dress, I like the collar, the length and the colour. Oddly it is a size 6 and fits me. Usually I go for an 8 and sometimes a 10 so this was a surprise.
Looking at the pictures of me above, compared with the Sunday blogger inspiration post below, I see that I really need to learn some natural poses! I usually opt for the simple hand-on-hip-smile pose but that must be quite boring to look at. Looking at other girls blogs, their outfit posts look very professional when they are not looking at the camera. It makes the picture look more artistic.
Bear with me, with time and practise I will get them looking a lot better!
